Job Description

About the Role

As the Clinical Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations within the home. Working closely with the Facility Manager and a team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, you will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive care that meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on nurse with leadership experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams
  • Assist with clinical governance, care planning, assessments, and audits
  • Monitor residents’ health outcomes and ensure appropriate interventions are in place
  • Oversee medication management and infection control practices
  • Support staff education and clinical skill development
  • Collaborate with the Care Manager and General Manager to ensure high standards of care
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care

What We’re Looking For

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aged care or a similar clinical environment
  • Demonstrated leadership or coordination experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor, support and guide clinical and care staff
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
